I’m a big fan of theater, so this article was a lot of fun to research. Seeing plays was one of my favorite things to do when I lived in New York City (it felt like there were hundreds of options every night).
While there aren’t limitless works going on here in New Orleans, there’s still a lot to choose from.

Everything from the massive (like a touring performance of the Broadway giant, Hamilton) to the teeny-tiny (like drafts of productions being read at local breweries around the city), there is a lot to choose from.
What am I most excited about? David Sedaris always cracks me up, and a play he adapted from one of his essays, The Santaland Diaries, about the time he was a Macy’s elf is way up there on my list.
Anyway — you can check out the piece in the New Orleans Advocate, here. And I’m always down to see a play so give me a holler if you’re going!
