New Orleans is known as “America’s most French city.” But acknowledging our French heritage is a lot more than bonjours, baguettes and beignets. This time of year it’s also about “Liberté, égalité, fraternité!” — three pillars of the French Revolution and Bastille Day, whose anniversary is just a few days away.

Fortunately, you don’t have to live in Paris to celebrate. There are beaucoup ways to show just how much of a Francophile you really are right here in NOLA, and here are five of my favorites!
